I had a great time at Exeter Craft Festival - sold out of loads of stuff and all my little knitted animals have found new homes, not a single one came back with me. I'm so glad I took their photos before they left. I've started on a new family already as I'm hoping to attend the Craft Show at our own village hall in Stokenham. (that's Hester, the new baby elephant below)
I've had a few queries from people about the little knitted animals - yes I am happy to make more, please just email me at helen@devonbeardesigns.com to discuss. I met some really nice people at the Craft Festival, and must particularly mention Sal of Sal's Snippets who wrote some lovely things about me on her blog. I have been told (by husband) that I became completely unbearable after reading her post due to extreme proudness.
Plumptious mice in vanilla, caramel and chocolate flavours - sorry colours - with strawberry paws are now available too ....
As you've probably realised by now, I just adore patchwork and applique, and I expect you've guessed that my fabric stash is about 3 miles high (OK very slight exaggeration). I'd like to share the following project idea with you - it would be fantastic for using up some of your own lovely fabrics and give your kitchen/office/wherever a great funky retro feel ....

Your work is utterly beautiful and those mice very, very tempting .....
