"Just to Say" Brooch Tutorial

Here as promised is a tutorial for making these great little brooches. They are lovely pinned to a card for that special occasion, then can be attached to cushions, aprons, hats, scarves ... whatever you wish ... and treasured forever. They're great for using up all those scraps from your fabric stash too.

If you decide to have a go, then please feel confident - they're really easy to make and shouldn't take you too long at all. Click on the picture below to view and download the pdf file with photos and (hopefully) easy-to-follow instructions. If you do have problems or queries, then please get in touch - this is the first tutorial I've put together and I hope it's OK!

If you don't have time to make these yourself, they're available to purchase on my website, DevonBear Designs and I'll happily send them direct to a loved one if you wish!

  4. Just found your site thru my subscription to TipNut:) I am adding you to my favorites! Love all your stitchery items....I am desperately looking for someone in my area to teach me to knit! Then I will be able to do more. I can do basic crochet, just need to brush up & practice more. You have given me new inspiration!(Wa. state, USA)
